The Inspector Calls the Strikes and Balls

One of the few times you'll catch Inspector Fitzgerald, proud member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, out of uniform is when he serves as umpire for the Regimental Baseball Tournament. The Inspector is in great demand as an umpire. It's not because he's especially fair or well versed in the rules of the game but because his calls are consistently bad, leaving neither team the advantage. The Inspector calls them as he "sees" them.
